The International hot air balloon festival, themed "Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh - Sea Paradise", will be part of the series of events celebrating Binh Dinh Sea Tourism Week in 2023. The Provincial People's Committee has approved the event's organization, with the Department of Tourism tasked with coordinating with Hexa Media Joint Stock Company to ensure compliance with regulations.
Hexa Media, a specialized unit in managing and organizing hot air balloon festivals in Vietnam, will be responsible for organizing the festival. Hexa Media has organized several major hot air balloon festivals in Vietnam, including the 2022 Hot Air Balloon Festival, which took place in Thua Thien Hue province as part of the Hue Festival.
Quy Nhơn Hot Air Balloon Festival 2023 Schedule
The Quy Nhon Hot Air Balloon Festival is expected to take place from April 25 to May 5, 2023, at Quy Nhon Square in Binh Dinh province.
The festival will feature 10 sizable Hot air balloons (25-30 m in diameter) and 05 small Hot air balloons (6-8m in diameter). There will be free flights in the morning from 5 am to 9 am and spot flights in the afternoon from 5 pm to 9 pm.
Other Activities In addition to the main events of the Quy Nhon Balloon Festival, visitors can also enjoy other attractions such as the Food Festival, Children's Playground, and EDM music night.
